The Opportunity: Manager, Enterprise Architecture

PwC’s Technology Advisory practice covers broader strategy work related to IT and Technology-enabled Business Transformation, as well as specific strategic planning related to Cloud, Digital, and Analytics. In addition, the practice delivers services related to enterprise architecture, IT governance, solution architecture, system selection advisory, and IT merger and integration related services.

While working within the Technology Advisory team, the Manager, Enterprise Architect will work with the broader network of Enterprise Architecture professionals across PwC. This individual will develop a deep understanding of our client’s business goals, and will work to articulate corresponding technical visions. Working with stakeholders, they will gather the requirements to create target state architectures and architectural roadmaps that align with both the business and technological goals.

This individual will:
Engage with senior business leaders and change champions to understand and analyze our client’s business strategies and goals
Steward the strategic planning process of Enterprise Architecture to support our client’s vision and strategies
Develop and maintain current, transitional and future state architectures and roadmaps to guide the implementation of strategies
Define, implement and govern enterprise architecture plans and policies to guide the development, integration, implementation and maintenance of client’s infrastructure and systems
Define architecture governance mechanisms / forums, to facilitate compliance with IT policies, strategies, architectures, principles, standards and roadmaps

Requirements:

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and experience contributing on project teams in several of the following domains:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Engineering or related field.
8-10 years of experience within Information Technology, with a recent focus in Enterprise Architecture.
TOGAF certification, with expertise in viewpoints and views
Draw on broad knowledge of EA frameworks, application and technology platforms
Certified and/or skilled in Archimate standard based model development
Experience with model-based development of architecture deliverables
Development of standards for modeling practices
Business strategy assessment and capability/motivation modeling
Program or portfolio level architecture analysis and roadmap development
Business, Solution and Technology Architecture development
Provision of coaching and mentoring for EA teams
Definition and implementation of EA services and EA governance frameworks
Integrate EA services with Portfolio Planning, Solution Delivery and Business Relationship Management
Interface with various streams such as project management, business stream and other project members a regular basis.
Previous experience within a consulting role, including contribution to business development efforts.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Identification and addressing of client needs - developing and sustaining deep client relationships using networking, negotiation and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities; preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials; and defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collection
