Division: Enercare Home and Commercial Services

Location: Birchmount (Markham)

Reporting to the Manager, Marketing Analytics, this role requires an individual who is a hands on, detail oriented analytics professional. If you are an individual who enjoys a data driven role, is curious about new technologies and is passionate about learning – then this role is for you!

The successful candidate will have strong quantitative training and experience in data manipulation. As an Analyst you will be responsible for providing support to the Product and Marketing team from an analytics perspective. You will be the primary day to day analyst on marketing campaign tracking for 1:1, social and digital. You will also be expected to support the ongoing monitoring of key operational processes and Adhoc reporting.


  • Analyze product, customer and campaign results and identifying key insights.
  • Participation in the development of analysis and insights to address customer issues including customer retention and claims risk.
  • Presenting concise summaries and presentations of analytics for sharing with key business partners.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing team to share analytic findings.
  • Develop quality control processes to ensure data integrity is being monitored and problems are addressed proactively.
  • Advise team members and management of approaches that could be utilized to better capitalize on best practices within the organization from an analytic perspective.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation for key processes.
  • Develop and design self-service reporting solutions.


  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in delivering analytic results in a data-driven organization.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with using Microsoft SQL Server technology
  • Excellent Oral and written communications skills.
  • Experience with GIS/Mapping software is nice to have.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and Advanced in PowerPoint and Excel including Pivot Tables, V-Look-ups, report automations.
  • Knowledge of VBA scripting is an asset
  • Experience with tools including Salesforce, SAS and Tableau are assets
  • Some experience with digital tools such as Google Analytics or Localytics is nice to have
  • Ability to present information to audiences is desirable
  • Degree with emphasis in quantitative analysis and computer sciences
