Do you want to play a key role in a multi-year initiative to transform our business via implementing best of class enterprise software applications?

This role is an opportunity for an eager and enthusiastic individual to be involved in the delivery of enterprise ERP and CRM software solutions.This role would touch all aspects of the SDLC – requirement gatherings, design, development and implementation in a project environment, as well as ongoing operational support of the delivered applications.The incumbent would be focused on responsibilities of a SalesForce administrator role, however having an understanding and knack for support and maintenance of other enterprise applications would be an ideal candidate.The goal of this position is to help the IT team prepare for the future of SalesForce at our company. Expectation is incumbent is skilled and experienced as a SalesForce administrator with a strong IT background, and willing to mentor others in this area, as well as roll up their sleeves and help in other areas of support when needed.The incumbent will aid in the successful transition from project to support, ensuring IT operational readiness in all areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in specification and design of SalesForce application features.Review and approve functional and technical designs put forth by vendor as pertains to SalesForce and integration to/from SalesForce.
  • Participate in the on-going support and maintenance of SalesForce applications.
  • Support new and existing SalesForce user base with questions and issues in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
  • Work with internal customers to gather requirements and implement configuration changes including but not limited to - definition of workflow and approval processes and custom object implementation.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base as needed to support SalesForce.
  • Document system configuration and administrative processes.
  • Keep abreast of SalesForce releases, features and best practices. Make recommendations regarding implementation as appropriate.
  • Meet with senior management and end users to understand the business inside and out so can make recommendations for improving user experiences and optimize business process.
  • Create and manage changes to the SalesForce system inclusive of:
  • Proactively seek out and identify need changes.
  • Proactively gather feedback from users.
  • Aim for modifications that are sustainable and increase benefit and usability to the customer.
  • Manage new releases of SalesForce and efficiently roll out new features.
  • Create and maintain Salesforce objects and functions.
  • Maintain security and integrity - grant/revoke and maintain user licenses.
  • Monitor storage usage and recommend archiving as necessary.
  • Design, create, and maintain user roles, profiles and hierarchies.
  • Customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validations
  • Working with others to create and manage complex workflow rules, data validation, and triggers;
  • After go-live maintain, prioritize and report on user request backlog.

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of B. Computer Science, or related technology degree and/or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years SalesForce work experience; SalesForce Administrator certification.
  • Understanding of relational databases and integration tools.
  • Self-motivated and have a strong work ethic; willing to go the extra mile when it's crunch time.
  • Have a passion for building highly functional and user friendly software.
  • Have sense of urgency for when issues occur that impact our business and our customer in live environments.
  • Experience with programming languages such as SQL, javascript, html, java, apex is preferred.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

  • Exceptional customer service orientation.
  • Experience with Version Control Tools such as GIT, VSTS considered an asset.
  • Understanding of ITIL is preferred.
