Our client in the Arts sector, is looking for someone who has a strong communications background, experience with  desktop publishing and graphic design experience an asset! 

Roles and Responsibilities

Monitor traditional media and social media coverage, compile daily reports and track results
  • Use computer software to design, lay out, and produce documents including PDF, slide shows, email newsletters, and Web.
  • Make necessary edits to already existing documentation.
  • Create and coordinate outgoing surveys from all departments.
  • Provide support to the Manager of Communications in preparing final documents.
  • Assist with the development of the annual report and magazine.
  • Assist with translation to and from French as directed.
  • Performing other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years of related business experience in desktop publishing, graphic design, communications, or other related areas.
  • Strong software skills in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Publisher, MS Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, an asset.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with website content management systems is an asset
Must have:

  • Be fully bilingual English/French

Education and Certifications

Minimum education required: College Diploma

Preferred field of study: Communications
