Our public sector client, located in the downtown core is looking for a receptionist to join their team!

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Greet and direct all visitors and incoming calls
  • Manage incoming and outgoing documents and packages
  • Ordering and negotiating rates for office supplies (stationary and equipment) and courier services
  • Distributing documents as directed, data entry and filing
  • Provide administrative assistance to EA and other senior staff
  • Keeping the office tidy and well maintained
  • Manage and coordinate catering for employee lunches and meetings
  • Manage and schedule boardroom meetings and book conference calls
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Must have exceptional communication, both oral and written
  • Experience working in client facing customer service roles
  • 1-3 years of reception experience is mandatory
  • Experience using Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel is an asset
  • Must be organized and able to multitask
  • Polished, professional and accommodating
