Job Description:

The purpose of the Senior Financial Analyst, Financial Analysis and Deployment is to provide finance business partnership and support to the PMO workstreams, through financial analysis to identify savings opportunities, completion of internal and external benchmarking, reporting on savings progress, maintaining initiative tracker, managing the PMO cost center budget in partnership with global leadership team members, actively liaising with Global FP&A and Corporate Accounting, and performing ad-hoc analysis when required.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Business Partner: Support the different workstreams on reporting, calculations and execution of specific initiatives or programs. Liaise with Corporate Accounting and Global FP&A both locally and globally to ensure a streamlined process
  • Financial Analysis/Benchmarking: Perform financial analysis and provide insights to drive performance. Complete benchmarking analysis using internal and external competitive information to identify gaps and drive new savings opportunities
  • Reporting: Report monthly savings tracker and dashboards. Monitor and track Optimal Plant Staffing savings and labour/non-labour efficiencies savings. Ensure a consistent message across different business areas
  • Initiative tracking: Update global cost tracker to ensure accurate planned savings by regions
  • Budgeting: Lead the PMO budgeting process, provide monthly budget versus actual analysis, and ensure resolution of any budget related issues

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of financial experience
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Experience working cross-functionally and globally is preferred
  • A high sense of urgency and professionalism when taking on new opportunities
  • Ability to build partnerships with stakeholders from various functions and regions to ensure delivery of shared objectives
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Continuously find the most effective and efficient ways of working

Other Requirements:
  • 10-15% travel (global) required
