Job Summary

We are looking for a strong and dedicated Wholesaler & Distributor Compliance Analyst to join our Commercial Analytics & Reporting team. Reporting to the Process Improvement & Compliance Associate, this role is responsible for Trade Spend reporting, process improvements, managing chargeback, claims and pricing contracts analytics.

The Wholesaler & Distributor Compliance Analyst will act as an expert on professional allowances and trade spend agreement process and manages all aspects from accrual reconciliation to settlements. In this position, you will monitor the total trade liabilities for each business unit, helps facilitate the reconciliation process and ensure customer billings are accurate and all backups are prepared for annual audit.

Job Responsibilities

  • Acts as a technical expert on all aspects of Trade Spend management, chargeback or claims process and monthly reconciliation of accruals and payments.
  • Run trade fund management reporting function. This includes Open Balance Reports, Monthly Report, annual trade Summary Report, and Volume Spend Report.
  • Analyze and monitor spend: Account spend performance to date and projected reporting for full year liability, Individual account event analysis on trade maintenance, Account true up of spend based on performance and financial approvals.
  • Consolidate trade spend accrual release and adjustments estimates and assist in presenting information in a value-added manner.
  • Support the trade spend ROI process by providing financial and analytical support to stakeholders and develop and enhance tools to ensure optimization of investments and profitability.
  • Responsible for ongoing system maintenance to ensure system and data integrity.
  • Identifies and leads the implementation of changes and upgrades to the Trade Spend management process, pricing claims, contracts and chargeback process.
  • Monitors, forecasts and maintains trade spend rates and wholesaler inventories in order to maintain accurate accruals.
  • Performs quarterly chargeback reconciliations with wholesale customers and applies all learning to proactively prevent future errors.
  • Support in developing KPI’s and dashboards to present to management and the executive team.
  • Ensure wholesaler compliance to terms of trade agreements.
  • Meticulously analyses wholesaler and distributor claims to ensure accuracy and to prepare backup for annual audit.
  • Responsible for the full cycle of customer claims – analysis, processing, customer feedback, dispute resolution and financial impacts and ensure that all documentation is prepared for auditors.
  • Identifies and develops initiatives to support department business needs, increase automation and improve productivity

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years analytical experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • University Degree in Business or accounting.
  • Knowledge of a sales organization’s business processes.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and Access.
  • Knowledge of data integration and cross-referencing.
